Memorandum to all Almod Employees relating to COVID-19
This Memorandum is intended to provide updates relating to employment and business developments in the face of the coronavirus. As we all face these difficult and unknown time, we hope to create a regular channel of communication and support so that we continue operating as an Almod family and team. Information update as of May 8, 2020:
Work from Home: o Work from home is extended until further notice. Office Reopening: o A Reopening Committee was put into place in order to plan and prepare Almod towards reopening. o The New York offices remain closed until May 15, 2020. The Florida offices are open in a limited capacity. Any individual employees that are periodically on-premises to conduct essential business such as collect mail or ship/received good are practicing social distance and other such precautionary measures.
If you are considering visiting the office premises, please alert either Oren Barzilay or Yaron Batito.
o The Company anticipates reopening in phases in order to limit the number of employees on premises to best practice social distancing. Additionally, new safety protocols may be introduced such as wearing face masks and gloves. Any screening, testing of fever or similar tests may be conducted if recommended by federal or local government and in compliance with legal regulations. o The Company is committed to ensuring that the office facilities be free of any recognized hazards to ensure the safety of all employees. Department of Labor Bulletins and Postings: o Almod complies with the Department of Labor requirement to publicize relevant labor, employment, and job safety posters in common office spaces. During these trying and uncertain times, in addition to his energy and dedication to Almod Diamonds Ltd., Yaron has been volunteering with Hatzalah of South Florida as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Yaron’s selfless efforts as a frontline health care worker making life-and-death decisions every day in the facing this novel coronavirus is an example for all of us.
