MSC Success Proves Cruising Could be Back Sooner Than Expected!
MSC Grandiosa returned from her first voyage throughout the Med. with a resounding success. The use of strict measures including COVID testing before boarding and maintaining a safe "bubble" with only MSC approved people surely attributed to the safe voyage.
Making the news was a young family who chose to disobey that strict rules set out by MSC, leaving the approved bubble by not remaining on the MSC planned shore excursion. For the safety of the crew and fellow passengers the family was left behind striking controversy in the news. However MSC remains confident in it's decision and the results back them up.
A second MSC ship the Magnica was scheduled to start sailing this month as well but as pushed back its first sailing date until the end of September. As the current leaders in the race to the sea MSC wants to be sure it is reaching all standards set up by all authorities in the countries it will be docking in throughout its journey.
What does this success mean for the rest of the cruise industry?
